Bullmax HD Stump Grinder 300mm – 390cc 4-Stroke Honda GX390 Engine (BMSG300-GX390)

The Bullmax HD Stump Grinder is purpose-built to make short work of tree stumps and roots without the cost of hiring a machine or calling in a contractor. Compact, well balanced and easy to manoeuvre, it grinds from 600mm above ground level right down to 235mm below grade — clearing stumps completely so you can re-turf, re-plant or build over the top.

At the heart of the machine is a heavy-duty 300mm grinding wheel fitted with 9 carbide-tipped teeth, spinning at 3,600 rpm. The thick carbide elements can be re-sharpened many times over, keeping your running costs down over the life of the machine. Power is transmitted through a heavy-duty centrifugal clutch and twin thick drive belts, delivering smooth engagement and consistent torque into the cut.

Powered by the Honda Australia approved 390cc Honda GX390 4-Stroke OHV engine, this grinder starts easily every time thanks to Honda's automatic decompression system and soft-grip recoil handle. Digital CDI ignition with variable timing delivers strong power output, low fuel consumption and clean emissions, while a cast iron cylinder sleeve and purpose-built components mean reliable long-term service under heavy workloads — plus reduced vibration and noise for the operator.

Getting to the stump is half the job. With a wheelbase of just 80cm, the Bullmax Stump Grinder fits through gates, side access and tight backyards, while large pneumatic tyres make crossing rough or uneven ground easy. Once you're in position, the hand brake locks the drum brake on the left wheel, anchoring the machine so you can arc the well-balanced grinding head smoothly left to right across the stump, milling it away pass by pass.

The handle offers a wide range of adjustment, so the operator can set the most comfortable working position whether the stump is sitting proud of the ground or being chased below grade. When the job is done, the handle folds over for compact storage and transport.

Whether you're clearing paddocks, tidying up after storm damage, reclaiming garden beds or working through a property full of old stumps, the Bullmax HD Stump Grinder 300mm – Honda GX390 is the reliable, low-cost way to get it done.

Key Features & Benefits:
